The clip is the ‘almost’ complete version of the ad without the voice over, produced for a pan-European advertising campaign by McCann Erickson Manchester.
The music brief? To depict “the power of the air clean in a flash”.
I injected a fresh and clean sounding drone and then an improvised Fender Rhodes solo over the top – great, fresh sound. The track then transitions seamlessly into a mellow, yet driving rhythm, following the product around the room as it cleans.
Complimenting the sound and spirit of a product is a skill that some composers just don’t have…Thankfully this one does. Try me.
